This modality brought both advantages and disadvantages; students could learn from home, avoid losing the course, or even save money since they did not have to transport and have meals out of home. However, since they were responsible for their learning process, the results could vary depending on the individual, mainly because students seemed to need a structured environment to avoid distractors. Since e-learning provides freedom to them, they must be autonomous. Talking about learning a language within this modality, students must also organize a period to practice what they learn, otherwise, it is easily forgotten. Language classroom interaction is viewed as a central point of language learning and teaching.
