Reciprocal observations, feedback and reflections were gathered, reconstructed and analyzed as a narrative which was used to identify the challenges, efforts and aspects of early professional awareness of the co-teachers. In addition, this study responds to the need of documenting studies about the participation of teachers in communities of practice as stated by Freeman and Johnson in their article.
