This idea is considered to disseminate the importance of understanding andragogy and its relevance in education processes for older adults, and in turn, to reduce student dropout rates. This duo ethnographic research was conducted by two teachers (Consuelo & Eduardo), who were former students in the Facultad de Lenguas de la BUAP. They investigated different English teaching methodologies, creating more functional classes that addressed the needs of their groups. The data obtained are based on the theoretical foundations from which this project was born. Likewise, it can be said that, regardless of the age and educational level of students, learning a second language is not limited by social class, gender, or age".pdfengHUMANIDADES Y CIENCIAS DE LA CONDUCTAFilología y lengua inglesa--Inglés moderno--Lengua--Estudio y enseñanzaAspectos especiales de la educación--Educación de adultos--Educación de adultos mayores--Obras generalesInglés--Estudio y enseñanza--Programas de actividadesMaestros de inglés--Formación en servicio--Estudios de casosEducación--Metodología--Estudio de casosDuoethnography: the perspectives of two pre-service teachers to senior adult studentsTesis de licenciaturaopenAccess
