Students often face difficulties with this skill, especially in contexts where they are unfamiliar with the language. In Mexico, many young students show deficiencies in listening comprehension, which is reflected in their academic results, particularly in related exams. Lack of familiarity with sounds and the speed of speech can cause anxiety and distraction in the classroom. It is essential for students to practice this skill in order to achieve effective communication. Establishing an environment that encourages listening practice, as well as the use of appropriate materials and technological strategies, can significantly improve listening comprehension. The research will be conducted at the Autonomous University of Puebla, focusing on students in the Minerva General University Education (FGUM) program, with the aim of identifying the problems they face and recommending strategies to facilitate their learning in this essential skill for English proficiency".pdfengHUMANIDADES Y CIENCIAS DE LA CONDUCTAFilología y lengua inglesa--Inglés moderno--Lengua--Estudio y enseñanzaTeoría y práctica de la educación--Enseñanza (Principios y práctica)--Ayudas y dispositivos didácticosInglés--Estudio y enseñanza (Superior)--Investigación--Hablantes extranjerosEnseñanza--Materiales auxiliaresComprensión auditiva--Estudio y enseñanzaMaterial to develop listening comprehension skill among FGUM studentsTesis de licenciaturaopenAccess
