This research focuses on students who might experience culture shock during their academic studies and explains the effects on the process and how they have confronted the difficulties. Culture shock is a problem that affects students that are in the way of a second language learning process for many reasons such as being in a new country where there is an unfamiliar language, the culture and the people are different, for those reasons culture shock might be an overwhelming experience for the students. According to Cupsa (2018) who defined culture shock as the anxiety and disorientation experienced when a person is made to operate in a new culture. In this research the data analysis is through qualitative methods that have the purpose to know more about their effects of culture shock while acquiring a second language.
