The time and space compression produced by the technological innovations have drastically changed the way in which information is consumed, as a result, people nowadays are often in contact with products from other cultures, more and more programs promote international affairs and larger organizations have the constant need to communicate with others across the world. These profound and extensive changes have shaped the way in which translators approach new strategies, since many ideas on how to make the translation task easier through technology started to emerge. Particularly, the early twentieth century witnessed the spark that triggered a fast development in the field of technology related to translation. Consequently, various technological tools were developed in order to make the translation process faster and more precise."
