Tesis de licenciatura Teachers´attitudes and behaviors and their effects on learning: students´ perceptions(Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, 2015-05) Álvarez Cortés, María del Rosario; Salazar Casco, Denisse; JUAREZ GARCIA, LEONOR; 91753"This study attempts to explore ho English language students perceive teachers´ attitudes and the manner they believe their teachers´ attitudes impact their learning in real educational contexts. We essentially analyze the form participants express their view toward the form their teachers´ behave in order to determine how those perceived actions might contribute or hinder their learning. This is a quantitative-qualitative case-study. The data were gathered from two public Secondary schools in the center of Puebla, Puebla, Mexico. The participants were seventy junior high school students aged 14 to 17. There were 31 male students and 39 female students in the gathered data. The instrument used to collect the data was a questionnaire; it was administered to all seventy students to gather enough information that led to illustrative interpretations. Especially when teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) to teenagers, attitudes become a paramount issue. This investigation explores the forms students believe and perceive teachers´ behaviors and attitudes in the specific context of the English Languages Teaching (EFL)"
