Abstract
"Learning a new language such as English, involves the development of the social skills like: interaction,
friendship, listening and participation etc. The music and songs can be a tool, which is applied help us
to develop these skills.
Social skills are a set of attitude, ideas, beliefs, values, feeling and behavior intended to achieve
communication and cooperation with others. Nowadays, social skill development in children is
important to unwrap completely to society, and they are able to live together and interact with other
children in their social environment.
This research will try to analyze the role of the songs for the development of children‟s social
skills and also how songs influence to the student to improve the learning outcomes of social
interaction. Children‟s friendships are also very important for their social and emotional development.
Through friendship children learn how to relate with others. They develop social skills as they teach
each other how to be good friends in their lives."
