dc.description.abstract"The main purpose of this research was to deepen the understanding of pre-service teachers' beliefs before and during the COVID-19 pandemic regarding the use of technology, and how their mindset was changing throughout these changes. This study includes the experiences of pre-service teachers who were in their social service and practicum at Nealtican Elementary School and how technology influenced to development of their English classes out of the Elementary School context. The methodology was qualitative research because there were just six participants and was made a questionnaire on Google Forms and sent to pre-service teachers by e-mail that conveyed the story of their use of ICT in their classes. Findings revealed that the use of ICT did not have enough importance before the pandemic however during the pandemic pre-service teachers use it every day and participants recognized their students enhanced their foreign language in their students. The research concludes that the use of technology is necessary in English teaching because there are many tools that pre service teachers can learn on the web. Nevertheless, although pre-service teachers can use ICT, it is important to train them so they can use them well".
