Abstract
"The idea for this research started because I had noticed that some students of
secondary school seemed to have difficulties to learn English. Also, I would like to know
which emotional and environmental factors inside the classroom affect English learning of
students of first grade of secondary school. The purpose of the present study is to identify
which emotional and environmental factors teachers need to take into account in English
teaching. Also, it will help me to analyze the attitudes that students have inside the
classroom in order to know what problems they have and affect English learning. Finally,
this research could raise awareness of teachers and novice teachers on how to face those
problems. In recent years there have been several changes in the educational programs; one of
them was the creation of the “Programa Nacional de Ingles en Educacion Basica” (PNIEB).
This national program pretends to incorporate English language subject in kinder garden,
primary and secondary school. At the end of the secondary school students should have
what is good, better to define the level that students have to reach in the cycle that
corresponds of English that help them to face the risks of global communication."
