Abstract
"Thisresearch was carried out in order to look for more information about the
mnemonic techniques and one in specific which is the Loci technique, which has been used
for a long time, it would give to the teachers or students some useful information about it
and it explains the steps that each activity followed.
In this research a case study was done because in this way we can have a wider and
deeper understanding of the situation and it can gives the reader a clearer idea about the
Loci technique. It was applied to six children students of English as a Foreign language in a
private school. I decided to do it for giving students or teacher an overview of the mnemonic
techniques so they can choose one and research more about it or to use the Loci technique
in their following classes.
I consider this research important as there are not many papers or books about it and
is an easy way to understand the technique which we are related to but we do not know how
to apply it in our lives or academic studies."
