Abstract
"This research was conducted to know students thinking about homework effects and changes during COVID-19 pandemic in the Faculty of Languages BUAP in Puebla, Mexico. The collected data was taken from eleven university students who were studying their degree in English Language Teaching "ELT" in the last semester. Students who participated in this research were in an age range between 21 to 25 years old and they participated voluntarily through convenience sampling. This study used a qualitative approach, in addition to using an interview guide and a script of consent prior to interview as instruments. The purpose of this research study is to understand the opinions and perspectives of university students about homework and identify the effects and changes of homework that university students identified during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study seeks to answer the following three research questions: What are the students' thinking about homework? What are the effects of homework on university students during the pandemic? and What are the changes in the homework during the pandemic? The finding indicated that university students consider homework as useful although most students do not like to do homework".
