dc.description.abstract“In agreement to De Angelis (2008) nowadays, the learning of foreign languages further than the native one has become primordial for a large number of languages learners. As a matter of fact , in many parts of the world the typical learner is no longer a learner of a second language, currently, several people is acquiring a third or other foreign languages for instance a L4 or an L5 due to increasing demands and needs for our society to be more competent in professional, business and educational areas. In the first place this project shows a particular educational interest of researcher in third language (L3) learning which highlights the new areas of research in relation to language acquisition. Secondly, it pretends to foster teachers and future learner generations to contribute to the study of this promising area which goes beyond second language acquisition. In line with Cenoz (2013) third language acquisition (L3) refers to a language learned chronologically after the L1 and L2 or after the two first languages in the case of early bilinguals. It should be taken into account third language acquisition, sometimes it is used as synonymous for multilingualism but in a strict sense it means the acquisition of a third language.”es_MX
