Abstract
"Considering that foreign students have a different experience according to their needs, the purpose of this research is twofold: first, it intends to know the impact that the teaching Spanish as foreign language subjects have in exchange students; second, it intends to know to what extent teachers at the faculty of languages help these students to cover their language needs. In order to achieve this purpose, the following three research questions were formulated: 1) What was the principal reason to carry out the school exchange? 2) What kind of impact does the teaching Spanish as foreign language subjects have in foreign students? 3) To what extent do faculty of languages teachers help them cover their language needs? This is a qualitative research because we are involved in a depth analysis of reasons and opinions (Creswell, 2003). A case study strategy of inquiry was used (ibid). The instrument to carry out this research was a questionnaire designed in Spanish; it was divided in three sections with a total of 13 items. "
