Propiedades estrella y estrella selectivas
Abstract
“In this thesis we treated with the star versions of some classical topological properties and of some selection principles; this involved the study of two new lines of investigation of topology. In particular, in chapter two, we defined two new classes of star-P spaces; namely star β and star-rcc spaces. We made a study about the relationship with other properties defined before in the same way. We show examples which show that theses classes are not trivial and are distinct to all others. This shows that, using such a method, we can define the star versions of different properties and use them to generalize some well-known results. In the chapter three, we treated star versions of some selection principles. Starting with the study of the relationship between these star selection principles and D-spaces, we got some important results. One of them is the generalizations of two results posed by Bonanzinga and Matveev just for ψ -spaces regarding to two small cardinals. Another one is the characterization of the strongly star Menger property of some kind of spaces in terms of games. However, there are still many open questions related with all of these concepts which are very interesting to study”.
