dc.description.abstract | "Today, the lag in global communication is one of the most important problems that large-scale companies have not yet solved. Mainly due to the great diversity of nationalities of their stakeholders, to the means of communication used in the field, but above all to the fact that communication problems are not addressed and studied by the right people. Therefore, this thesis aims to identify which are the problems in the email communication of a multinational company. To classify and explain the main factors that may have generated the email communication problems. To provide suggestions to the multinational company to counteract the factors identified as causing email communication problems. As well as to show the importance of the study being elaborated by experts in the English language, as the global language par excellence. This study is conducted through the genre analysis of 12 complete email chains that include a total of 163 individual emails. As well as through an interview applied to the North America Senior Free Trade Agreements Specialist of the analyzed multinational company. The authors of the email chains include 69 business stakeholders from the United States, Mexico, Colombia, India, Canada, Australia, and Germany, who are at least bilingual". | |
