dc.description.abstract"Migrants and international students have expectations and goals when moving to another country. The first shock is difficult and exciting at the same time. However, little by little, individuals adapt and become part of the new society, but when they come home there are unexpected feelings. They have diverse needs to re-adapt to their home country and this experience becomes harder since people were not prepared for that. Thus, this thesis aims to understand the experiences of 13 Mexican ELT students in the US, the perceptions and the manner in which they struggled to readapt once they return to Mexico. To examine how the participants employed the coping strategies to re-adjust their lives more easily."es_MX
