dc.description.abstract"The Standard Model (SM) of particle physics is a quantum field theory that describes the fundamental interactions between elementary particles. Over the years, experiments have confirmed its predictions with remarkable precision, providing a detailed understanding of the nature of matter and the forces that govern it. According to the SM, elementary particles are divided into two main classes: fermions, which make up matter, and bosons, which mediate interactions. The objective is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Standard Model (SM) of particle physics, focusing on its three primary sectors: the fermionic sector, the gauge sector, and the scalar sector, while emphasizing the role of the Higgs mechanism in spontaneous symmetry breaking (SSB). This involves studying the interactions of elementary particles such as quarks and leptons, the gauge bosons that mediate the fundamental forces, and the Higgs field responsible for giving mass to the W and Z bosons".
