Abstract
"Over the past two years, the pandemic has dramatically transformed education, leading to a rapid transition from face-to-face classes to online environments and hybrid models. This change has presented new challenges for teachers, who must adapt to teaching on digital platforms. This qualitative study explores how these new conditions affect teachers and the teaching of English to young learners. It focuses on a class recorded via Zoom, analyzing the multimodal resources used, such as verbal and nonverbal communication, in a virtual teaching environment. In addition, the study seeks to identify the aspects of a virtual class and the implications for teacher training. The research is conducted in the context of English language teaching training, providing valuable information on the dynamics of distance education and offering strategies to improve the quality and effectiveness of teaching in the digital age. By addressing these issues, it is hoped to contribute to the understanding of teaching in virtual environments and prepare future educators for similar situations".
