Abstract
"The study focuses on tutors’ and tutees’ behavior and attitude during the tutoring sessions and on tutors and tutees’ perceptions about English Language peer tutoring. Following a three-stage qualitative research methodology, the study employed a variety of data collection methods such as questionnaire, peer tutoring observations, peer assessments and semi structured interviews. The results from this research revealed that tutees and tutors asked questions and had a positive attitude towards error correction in almost all the sessions. The findings also indicated non-academic outcomes for tutees and tutors; the peer tutoring experience helped tutees to build self-confidence while for tutors it helped them to improve their communication skills."
