Abstract
“Currently, students are used to getting to the classroom and spending all their time listening to the teacher and specially in the English subject. They tend to copy what others do and hide or look down as soon as the teacher asks something. Many of my classmates argue that they do not like to feel exposed in class; For this reason, this routine is comfortable for them. Patiung, Tolla, Anshari, & Dolla. (2015) stated that professors usually focus only on speaking principles rather than the speaking exercise with the learners. Thus, they cannot accomplish this essential skill in school and less in real life. According to Udon Thani Rajabhat University (2012), the main task of teaching a language is to pay total attention to the students, to make them produce oral communication for many specific activities throughout daily life, such as asking for detailed information at the bank, at the hospital, at the café, or any place in the town where they can solve a basic need. This study also mentions that most of the time, learners do not use the language in an actual situation because they lack confidence fluency, so they cannot transmit the correct message to others”.
